About
We started Two Harbors Hideaways, beginning with our first location, Cedarwood Hideaway, in an effort to spend more time creating art and being outdoors. We also want to share the wonders of this dynamic region and the experience of being immersed in the wild.
Shelley is a visual artist and poet, who also works with special needs students in a local school. Brien is recently retired from teaching sixth-grade. He creates frames and other items from upcycled pallet and barn wood. Devin recently returned to the Twin Cities, but continues to write music, (fb: “Riverwrote”) and take photographs. Brighid (barn and birch woodworking) creates wall art and functional furniture from reclaimed wood and materials from nature.
As artists, we provide art opportunities for you and your guests. You may also enjoy being outdoors and walking the trails or relaxing by a campfire. Our goal is to provide a special place for you and your family or friends in this beautiful wilderness setting.
