Your stay on the wild side of town!

While Cedarwood Hideaway will soon be reopened by Dark Star Cabins LLC with new hosts, Spencer and Katie, Riverwood Hideaway is still available through Two Harbors Hideaways with Shelley and Brien.

Our cabin offers solar and propane energy alternatives and is heated by a propane furnace with cooking opportunities on a stove, oven, gas or charcoal grill.  If you prefer cooking over the open fire, that is an option too.  Riverwood Hideaway is nestled beside the Knife River just outside of Two Harbors.

ruffed grouse create snow beds in which to sleep, then walk around them and lift off leaving wing prints in the snow. THESE LITTLE HOLES AND TRACKS CAN BE FOUND EVERYWHERE AT BOTH HIDEAWAYS!

There are acres of on-site trails, a comfortable outhouse and a lot of privacy.  We supply kitchen utility water but guests bring their own drinking water. In addition to games, puzzles and art supplies, each cabin has a quality guitar for the musician in the group. Last winter, singer/songwriter Josiah Jorgensen recorded a new song at Riverwood Hideaway…

An abundance of birds and wildlife can be seen and heard as pileated woodpeckers, ravens and owls swoop and call through the trees.  There are bears, bobcats, coyotes and wolves as well as an occasional moose that makes its way through the properties.

Make Two Harbors Hideaways part of your next North Shore adventure.
